Pier Luigi Rosso dairy is situated in Biella where the Oropa and the Cervo valley meet in the centre of the Alpine arc. Seen from the plain, the Biella valleys look like a natural amphitheatre with the 25 km. long Serra glacial morraine to the west, the Mombarone crest to the north and the Alpine chain to the east. The valleys and hills are a great green carpet where hundreds of small farmers raise cattle. The maturing and finishing cellars are situated on the west side of Biella (the so called Upper Elvo Valley), where Rosso family comes from.
